Forest, farm, and park play locations are also so special. Particularly if you and your family may not be beach people, these locations produce stunning backdrops for me to capture your stunning imagery.
In-home settings are great for newborn shoots and cosy, story-telling family style shoots (see here for examples).
And I am always open and keen to explore new locations and ventures, just reach out and we can discuss your vision.

How many photos will we receive?
Packages: Bronze (15 edited images), Silver (25 edited images), Gold (all images-50+). You will be able to view them for selection first and upgrade (for an extra cost) if you wish.
How should we dress and what colours should we wear?
Firstly, don't stress, upon signing up and paying your deposit, I will send you my style guide which outlines suggestions for what to wear etc. I always recommend non-branded clothes with natural, earthy colours and tones, such as beige, cream, light clay, brown, sage.... Bright colours and black are not really recommended.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Ideally within the first few weeks of life, usually after a bottle when bub is fed and changed is best for ensuring baby and mum/carer is comfortable. With my neonatal nursing background, I can offer a lot of comforting measures and tips here!
Myself and/or my baby are still in hospital or recovering?
Not a problem, I've got you!! I am familiar with clinical and challenging environments due to my nursing background and can arrange shoots in NICU, maternity hospitals etc. In fact, I am passionate about providing recovering Mums (including C-Section Mums) and babies this opportunity with the least amount of stress possible, so please reach out with you special circumstance.
How long is the turn around? When will we get our photos?
You will receive a 'sneak peak' image within 3 business days of the shoot, and should receive your gallery/images for selection within 2 weeks. Once your images are selected, your images will be available for download to a maximum of 5 business days later. Note: This time may be extended during peak times/school holidays etc.
What happens in the event of bad weather (for outdoor sessions) or illness?
Knowing Melbourne, this is a very real possibility! Same for illness, if this happens, we can re-schedule to another suitable time within the 2 week period. 24 hours notice is appreciated!
What is one family member doesn't like having their picture taken?
This is common. I will work with this family member within their comfort zone. I will get other candid shots of them interacting with other family members, and engage them in play and conversation if possible to break the ice.
What is my child has some challenging behaviours?
Firstly, I am an inclusive and want to ensure each family member is involved. I always recommend ensuring kids are well fed, you have packed some non-messy snacks, and everyone is comfortably dressed. Then I work with parents to discuss and accomodate needs prior the shoot. Play, distraction and bringing their favourite comfort item also helps.
